As part of our ongoing effort to provide you with the highest quality Himalayan Salt products at the most competitive prices, we have negotiated substantially reduced shipping costs with LTL (Less Than Load) carriers. This allows us to ship orders on pallets, which is the safest way to ship our products, at costs that can be far less than using services such as FedEx. These cost savings become increasingly significant as the size and weight of your order increases,

There are some special considerations, however, that you need to be aware of. These are detailed below.

• Your order will typically be delivered via tractor trailer. There are some carriers that use “straight trucks”, but this is more the exception than the rule. Therefore, if you wish to take advantage of pallet shipping, you MUST notify the sales office if it will be a problem to get a trailer into your location.
• You will need to sign for the delivery. Therefore, you must be present to take delivery of your order. If the driver arrives at your location and no one is there, there will be a $100.00 Re delivery charge imposed by the trucking company. If you are not open during standard business hours, you can ask for a delivery appointment. Please be aware, however, that there is a $35.00 charge for doing so, and it will add one day to your transit time.
• The sales office will send you tracking information when your pallet ships. You will be able to use this to track your shipment so that you can ensure that you are available when it is scheduled to be delivered.
• The carrier’s responsibility ends with setting the pallet on the ground at your location. They ARE NOT responsible for bringing it inside. If you want inside delivery, you must specify that when you place your order. There is an additional charge for this, typically in the $50.00 range. If you request inside delivery from the driver at the time of delivery without pre-authorization, there will be an additional $100.00 added to your bill.

By adhering to these guidelines we can provide you with substantial savings on your shipping costs while greatly improving the safety of your delivery.
